MY KIND OF MUSIC

Music accompanies me my entire life. I get up with it, work on music, study on music, make love on music, dance on music and use music to influence my mood. An up-tempo playlist with golden oldies saves me at least half an hour of cleaning and a playlist with cheerful music takes me out of a printed mood. Even at bedtime I listen to music.

Hope you enjoy my  You Tube playlists.

Once I came to live here on Crete my live changed from rther comfortble to very basic.
It was a huge change but I really enjoy the simple life.

Talking with someone can leave you with a certain feeling of exitment, like a promise of things to come.

“The Second Walt” from Dimitri Shostakovich done by the famous Demis Roussos represents that feeling. Therefor my choice for the blog
The Freak

Nena Venetsanou is a Athens-born (1955) classically educated singer who plays her songs with every fiber in her body. I suggest to listen to other songs from her as well.

More often in my life I asked myself the question Should I stay or should I go?  In that case this song pops up in my head.

Therefor my choice for the blog The run-up to the decision part 1

Bette Midler is for me the ultimate woman. Feminine, naughty, mind of her own, intelligent.
Loved her from the first moment I saw her on television. 1972 The Divine Miss M great show.

Some people get a personal ringtone so I can hear who is calling. Hektor had the song “Connected’. When you read my post called Hannibal Hektor about him it will become clear why.

Country music has always been a kind of quilty pleasure of me. This song I like because of its melody and intention. Humble and kind.
Therefore my choice for the blogpost

A golden oldie from Paul Simon popped up in my mind when I was wrting Loving the internet about an eventful day for a mother here in my village.

feeling good

This song was a hit in 2005, and over all these years, when i feel content, you can hear me sing “Galara, I zoï eine orea” what means ” Chill, the life is good.”

BIG LOVE

From the first moment I heard Haris Alexiou sing she had new fan. When I heard this song I got emotional, although I did not understand the lyrics. By now I understand the song and it brings back sweet memories.
